Reflection / colour
Reflection: i = r measured from normal; rough surfaces scatter lawful rays
Surface colour: Red reflects red; under blue light may look dark
Filters: Transmit selected wavelengths; incompatible filters block most light
Critical angle: Higher → lower refractive index; refracted ray along boundary
Total internal: i > critical angle; higher → lower index; optical fibres
